Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism

The Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism equips students with the knowledge, practical skills, and industry insights needed to build successful careers in the global hospitality and tourism sector. Programme Overview

The 12-month course is designed to prepare students for rewarding careers in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries. The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations, tourism management, customer service excellence, and business communication, while developing the practical skills required to succeed in hotels, resorts, restaurants, attractions, travel agencies, airlines, and other tourism-related organisations.

Through a balanced combination of classroom learning, practical application, and industry-focused projects, students will gain knowledge in hotel and lodging operations, food and beverage management, tourism planning, hospitality marketing, cultural etiquette, and sustainable tourism practices. Entry Requirements

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have successfully completed 10 years of formal education. Mature candidates aged 30 years and above with a minimum of 8 years of working experience may also be considered for admission. Applicants must have passed English at Year 10 (or equivalent) or successfully complete AceTek College’s English Placement Test.

Qualification Awarded

Students who successfully complete all modules will be awarded the Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism by Acetek College located in Singapore, a SWDA-registered private education institution.
